Amnesty International is supported by more than a million activists worldwide. Mass public pressure is sometimes the only way that human rights can be improved. You can do something now to make a difference.
There are many more ways you can get involved with Amnesty's work, no matter who you are or how much time you have.
- Join a local group from over 285 in the UK; organise events, write letters, raise funds, lobby MPs, generate press coverage and more
- Join a student group at university or college, meet during term time to campaign
- Join a youth group to campaign, write letters and organise fundraising events in schools
- Join a specialist network to campaign individually on your personal areas of interest
- Get Amnesty Action, our newsletter for individual activists
- Join the crisis response network and be part of a mass response to global human rights emergencies
- Affiliate your trade union to promote human rights to your colleagues around the UK
- Raise funds for Amnesty with ideas and materials from the community fundraising team
- Use your skills by speaking in schools, training group members or coordinating work on a country or region
