Amnesty International is supported by more than a million activists worldwide. Mass public pressure is sometimes the only way that human rights can be improved. You can do something now to make a difference.

There are many more ways you can get involved with Amnesty's work, no matter who you are or how much time you have.

  • Join a local group from over 285 in the UK; organise events, write letters, raise funds, lobby MPs, generate press coverage and more
  • Join a student group at university or college, meet during term time to campaign
  • Join a youth group to campaign, write letters and organise fundraising events in schools
  • Join a specialist network to campaign individually on your personal areas of interest 
  • Get Amnesty Action, our newsletter for individual activists
  • Join the crisis response network and be part of a mass response to global human rights emergencies
  • Affiliate your trade union to promote human rights to your colleagues around the UK
  • Raise funds for Amnesty with ideas and materials from the community fundraising team 
  • Use your skills by speaking in schools, training group members or coordinating work on a country or region
