A simple card or letter brings hope and comfort to those suffering human rights abuses
During November and December we would like you to send a personal message to one or more of the individuals and communities that feature in this year’s Write for Rights campaign.
Each one makes it harder for a president or police chief to ignore our appeals. We’ve helped thousands of prisoners of conscience claim their freedom.
All around the world people are suffering human rights abuses that need your help.
These people are just like you. With mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, and friends who miss them. Send them a message and let them know they haven’t been forgotten.

Take Action in Norwich
Here in Norwich, we have a ‘Write for Rights’ event on Saturday 26th November at:
Norwich Arts Centre Bar,
St. Benedict’s Street,
between 11:00am and 4:00pm.
Between these times, people can drop in and write a letter to governments around the world in support of one of the campaign appeal cases whose rights are being denied or abused.
If you would have some free time during our Write for Rights event it would be wonderful if you could help out. If you would like to come along and help us, please email David Yates on firstname.lastname@example.org
Put up a poster
To help us promote the event you could put up our poster and help get as many people to the event as possible
