Matters arising:

Jim M has had a letter from Clive Lewis MP in response to his concerns over the criteria for reuniting refugee families.

David H joined others from Mothers’ Union and Sanctuary Norfolk at a Policy and Resources Committee meeting of Norfolk County Council. They discussed possibility of receiving 50 refugees to Norfolk. The mood of the meeting was positive. A decision will be taken at a meeting of the full council on 25th July. There are two separate issues, the number of refugees to be taken over five years (20,000) and the plight of vulnerable children. 1,600 refugees have been settled in the UK as end of March.
