Norwich Amnesty hosted Social Evening for Refugees and Asylum Seekers Review

We hosted a social evening for Refugees and Asylum Seekers at the Rumsey Wells as part of our monthly meeting in July 2017.

The event was postponed from Refugee Week, which coincided with Ramadan. Moussa from Sudan sang and played his hand-made Rababa, Salah from Egypt read some of his poems and there were British songs and poems from Martin and Sarah from the Norwich Folk Club, Ben from The Grange, and David H from Amnesty.

Many thanks to Dee Robinson from New Routes and Ben Margolis for helping to co-ordinate the event and to the many Amnesty members who brought food and themselves to make this a successful and enjoyable evening.
